Privacy Notice

ClaimPath is a private-beta, veteran-controlled claim-preparation workspace. This notice explains the information the service handles and the choices available to users.

Information we process

We process account email addresses, guided-intake answers, condition names and notes, uploaded files and file metadata, and feedback submitted through the service. Hosting, authentication, database, and private file storage are provided through Vercel and Supabase.

How information is used

Information is used to authenticate users, save their workspace, organize documents, generate their preparation summary, maintain security, troubleshoot failures, and respond to beta feedback. ClaimPath does not sell user information or use uploaded claim information for advertising.

Private-beta restriction

Do not upload unredacted medical records, Social Security numbers, VA file numbers, dates of birth, financial information, or other highly sensitive information during the private beta. Use fabricated or heavily redacted files.

Sharing

Information is disclosed to infrastructure providers only as needed to operate the service, or when required by law. ClaimPath is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Retention and deletion

Workspace information remains until the user deletes individual documents or permanently deletes the account. Account deletion is available under Settings and removes saved workspace records and uploaded files. Limited operational records may remain temporarily in provider backups and security logs.

Security and breaches

ClaimPath uses authenticated accounts, encrypted network connections, private storage, and owner-scoped database controls. No service can guarantee absolute security. Suspected privacy or security issues should be submitted through Settings & feedback by signed-in beta users or through the person who provided the beta invitation.

Your choices

Users can download a structured export of workspace data, download uploaded documents individually, remove documents, or permanently delete the account from Settings.

Changes

This notice may change as the beta develops. Material changes will be dated on this page. Continued use after a change means the user accepts the updated notice.
