Terms of Use

These terms apply to the ClaimPath private beta. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

Preparation tool only

ClaimPath helps users organize information they control. It does not file claims, act as a representative, provide legal or medical advice, diagnose conditions, create medical opinions, predict ratings, or guarantee outcomes. ClaimPath is not the Department of Veterans Affairs and is not VA-endorsed.

User responsibility

You are responsible for verifying all information and deciding whether and how to use it. Consult a VA-accredited representative, attorney, claims agent, or qualified medical professional when appropriate.

Private-beta data rules

Use only fabricated or heavily redacted files during the private beta. Do not upload Social Security numbers, VA file numbers, unredacted medical records, dates of birth, financial information, unlawful material, malware, or information you do not have permission to use.

Accounts

Keep credentials confidential and notify the beta team if you suspect unauthorized access. You may export workspace data or permanently delete the account from Settings.

Availability

The beta may change, experience interruptions, or be discontinued. We will make reasonable efforts to protect saved information but do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every feature will meet every claim-preparation need.

Acceptable use

Do not probe or bypass security, access another user’s information, automate abusive traffic, misrepresent ClaimPath as a VA service, or use the service for unlawful activity.

Feedback

You may submit ideas and bug reports through Settings. You permit the beta team to use that feedback to improve ClaimPath without transferring ownership of your personal claim information.

Changes

These terms may be updated as the beta develops. Material revisions will be dated here. Stop using the service and delete the account if you do not accept revised terms.
